Day 1: The Dreaded First Post

     Welcome! Today will go down in blog history as the day I defeated the daunting blank white text box! Blogging is much more difficult than it looks. Honestly, I created and designed A Horned Frog Blog several weeks ago when the boredom of summer was finally kicking in, but I wanted to save my first post for when I could think of the right thing to say. If you haven't heard, the purpose of this blog is for me to post one photo every day for an entire year. This is a personal project I have considered launching for a while, but the timing wasn't right... until now.

     So, what's so special about July 10th? Nothing really. It's exactly 4 days before I take the GRE, and 5 days, before the final instalment of Harry Potter is released in theaters. In 21 days I will be on a plane to visit my grandma in Florida, and in just one month I will move back to Fort Worth and into the Tom Brown apartments for the school year. In a year, I will hopefully be packing up my things and leaving the DFW area for the glamorous life of a graduate student. Needless to say I have a lot planned and high expectations for the next 364 days. There's no time like the present, right?

     So, to commemorate this momentous occasion, I will leave you with this:

     Nothing exciting, but such was my day. Studying, studying, and more studying. Hopefully my hard work will pay off!
